Cognitive Strategy Services (CS2) is an analytical concept that stems from nearly twenty years of clinical training, practice and teaching in the fields of health and mental health. Education and background theories have been acquired through Washington University in St. Louis, Saint Louis University and Webster University. Much of this focus and specialization has been with individuals in all stages of life. Specific training in cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness and crisis intervention have been successfully practiced in the areas of:
health and chronic illness
disaster preparedness and response
oncology
end of life care
trauma and emergency medicine
research
crisis response
academics
inpatient, outpatient and private practice
A clinical assessment is conducted at the initial contact. This will include an examination of discussion points, expectations, and strategy for success.
